LRP-DS: Lightweight RepPoints with Decoupled Sampling Point Set

چکیده
Most object detection methods use rectangular bounding boxes to represent the object, while representative points network (RepPoints) employs a point set describe object. The RepPoints can provide more fine-grained localization and facilitates classification. However, it ignores difference between classification tasks. Therefore, lightweight with decoupling of sampling (LRP-DS) is proposed in this paper. Firstly, MobileNet-V2 Feature Pyramid Networks (FPN) employed as backbone realize network, rather than Resnet. Secondly, considering tasks, are decoupled, by introducing free method. Finally, due introduction method, problem mismatch accuracy confidence highlighted, so score independently. final structure paper achieves 73.3% mean average precision (mAP) on VOC07 test dataset, which 1.9% higher original same MobileNetV2 FPN. Our LRP-DS has speed 20FPS for input image (1000, 600), RTX2060 GPU, nearly twice fast ResNet50 Experimental results show effectiveness our

Sampling Point-Set Implicits
We present a novel approach for point-set implicit surface sampling that is able to rapidly distribute particles over the surface of 3D objects. Our methods benefit from the inner structure of a MPU implicit to obtain a near-optimal initial distribution, with higher densities in areas of higher complexity. The adequate number of particles to effectively sample the surface is determined almost a...
متن کاملDynamic Sampling and Rendering of Algebraic Point Set Surfaces
Algebraic Point Set Surfaces (APSS) define a smooth surface from a set of points using local moving least-squares (MLS) fitting of algebraic spheres. In this paper we first revisit the spherical fitting problem and provide a new, more generic solution that includes intuitive parameters for curvature control of the fitted spheres. As a second contribution we present a novel real-time rendering s...
متن کاملDecoupled Sampling for Real-Time Graphics Pipelines
We propose decoupled sampling, an approach that decouples shading from visibility sampling in order to enable motion blur and depth-of-field at reduced cost. More generally, it enables extensions of modern real-time graphics pipelines that provide controllable shading rates to trade off quality for performance. It can be thought of as a generalization of GPU-style mul-tisample antialiasing (MSA...
متن کاملStratified Median Ranked Set Sampling: Optimum and Proportional Allocations
In this paper, for the Stratified Median Ranked Set Sampling (SMRSS), proposed by Ibrahim et al. (2010), we examine the proportional and optimum sample allocations that are two well-known methods for sample allocation in stratified sampling. We show that the variances of the mean estimators of a symmetric population in SMRSS using optimum and proportional allocations to strata are smaller than ...
متن کاملSampling of Multiple Variables Based on Partially Ordered Set Theory
We introduce a new method for ranked set sampling with multiple criteria. The method relaxes the restriction of selecting just one individual variable from each ranked set. Under the new method for ranking, units are ranked in sets based on linear extensions in partially order set theory with considering all variables simultaneously. Results willbe evaluated by a relatively extensive simulation...
